DSLR: MORNING COURSE from10:30am to 12:30pm
A course focusing mostly on digital DSLR, basic retouching (Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom) and its unlimited possibilities

Topics covered will include:

Tuesday April 6th
Formats, CCD, resolution, sensors, exploring different functions of film/digital cameras, exposure control, composition

lenses, filters, bracketing, color t°, color balance, advices for digital files and archives
Tuesday April 20th
Flash control, first and second curtain, overall review
Advanced techniques for digital photography
Create a web presence (Flickr, Facebook, Web Blogs, etc)

– Creative approaches for fashion poses

SATURDAY, April 11th, 2010: PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY (location/studio)

– Soft lighting techniques appropriate for portrait (bouncing flashes)

SATURDAY, April 18th, 2010: TRAVEL Photo-journalism
(locations around Seoul or Korea *if weather permits)

Travel together with our teacher(s) in our comfortable STAREX van to some remote Korean islands or locations near the sea/mountains. You will learn how to confidently take photos of the surroundings around you with techniques to produce truthful, objective, and candid photographs of the places, people and unusual things that are visually different from big cities like Seoul
-       Learn to create a travel story for future magazine assignments
-       Critique sessions for images
-       Understand composition and editing/contact sheets techniques (Adobe Lightroom)
-       Compose a travel theme and get eventually published

Workshop only: 180,000 won

Head out to the streets and put your skill to the test! Learn to see through a different set of eyes! Here you will learn how to confidently take photos of the surroundings around you. You will learn techniques to produce truthful, objective, and candid photographs of the people, places and things that surround you!

-       Understand composition and editing techniques
