*Introductory photography courses (analogue & digital)
Mixed course for beginners to build a good foundation about the basics of photography (film and/or DSLR cameras)

B.P. 1: EVENING Basic Photography I - from 7pm to 9pm
(4x 2hours classes & 1x 4hours practice workshop)
Topics covered will include:
Wednesday March 31st
choosing a camera model, selecting the right lens, brand reviews
technical aspects: Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO
Wednesday April 7th
exploring different functions of film/digital cameras, color t°, color balance
exposure control, composition
Wednesday April 14th
lenses, filters, bracketing
introduction to on camera flash
Wednesday April 21st
Flash control, first and second curtain, overall review

+ choose one Saturday intensive practice workshop (4 hours)
(choose either Saturday April 17th or April 24th, 2010 - from 2pm to 6:15pm)

B.P. 2: MORNING Basic Photography II - from 10:30am to 12:30pm
(4x 2hours + 1x 4 hours practice workshop)
Topics covered will include:

Thursday April 8th
exploring different functions of film/digital cameras, color t°, color balance

DSLR - Digital Photography MORNING/EVENING course
(4x 2hours + 1x 4 hours practice workshop)
*Evening courses are also available on Tuesdays 6:30pm~8:30pm or other hours upon requests with a min. of 3 students

DSLR: MORNING COURSE from10:30am to 12:30pm
A course focusing mostly on digital DSLR, basic retouching (Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom) and its unlimited possibilities

Topics covered will include:
Tuesday March 30th
choosing a camera model (DSLR, hybrid cameras), selecting the right lens, brand reviews, technical aspects: Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO
Tuesday April 6th
Formats, CCD, resolution, sensors, exploring different functions of film/digital cameras, exposure control, composition
Tuesday April 13th
lenses, filters, bracketing, color t°, color balance, advices for digital files and archives
Tuesday April 20th
Flash control, first and second curtain, overall review
Advanced techniques for digital photography
Create a web presence (Flickr, Facebook, Web Blogs, etc)

+ one intensive practice workshop on SATURDAY
(choose either Saturday April 17th or April 24th, 2010 - from 2pm to 6:15pm)
